Paintwork - Stonechip city on front bumper, and some dodgy respray from previous owners

Daily use and doing 20k per annum
Paintwork - one scratch due to my driving 2 or 3 others due to jealous / careless persons unknown. Otherwise pretty good roof rails were done on warranty 3 or 4 years ago. Wheels recently repainted.
Engine - no problems at all.
    Mods - SS Exhaust system
Faults - interior door handle paint lifting (common fault)
Last big spend - MOT few weeks ago 1 x rear bearing and 2 rear calipers cost approx £320.
Would I sell it - Yes it is up for sale! Had it 5 years (never had a car more than 2 before) so has been really good but its time for a change.

17k stanless exhaust and mainfold , painwork minor scratchs, no faults , wheels
revamp, cambelt done, just fitting Hella day running lights, valeo auto lights on/off
and veleo guidao lane warning system and camera,
    will i sell NO

56k, daily drive. A little tatty here & there due to a slightly careless previous owner, roof rails & mirror brackets hopefully about to be done, and other bits & bobs as time allows.
Cambelt changed recently. Slight eau-de-chien whiff due to the same past owner apparently being a long-haired quadruped of the canine variety now almost gone, except on most humid of days!

Radio cover annoyingly flies open with any large pot-hole and takes an average of thirty-three attempts to re-close & catch!

High-end Pioneer CD player with stalk control adaptor fitted, with Genesis amp & a/d/s 3-way front speaker upgrade imminent. Really fancy the Hanzo Dotz alloys on eBay too as I think they'd look great on the AVi but just can't justify the expense!!!

20K (3Ltr Privelege) owned from new, used for high days and holidays to the continent only. Large bill last year as replaced tyres and had cambelt and water pump replaced, as you can imagine all parts appeared as new but wouldn't take the risk as had a cam belt go on my Ford years ago after 15K.

Roof bars were done under warranty and all well apart from the CD player which gave up the ghost after I had a bad day with it. Otherwise all pretty much as new and absolutely standard.

48K 3lr Privilege ex demonstrator bought with 8K on clock.
Adapted for my disabled needs with hand throttle and brake but still full original pedals for able bodied driver (As if they could get the keys off me).
    Cat back SS exhaust
Nokia integrated bluetooth phone kit fitted (which hates the Erricsson i now have). CD Error like everyone else
Paintwork good but in need of a few touch ups where wheelchair had caught door or boot lip. Alloys bubbling. erratic parking sensor needing investigation.
Rear roof-lining a complete nightmare and as yet no attempted fix has held it in place!!
Centre armrest cover comes off if you sneeze at it so it is rarely if ever used.
Last major spend... front discs and 4 new tyco tyres (friend runs a tyre centre in Newport Pagnell and recommended the tyco as being as good as the Michelins)

Wants.... 5yr Cambelt change. Paintwork mop, refurbish alloys, flowers for being soo gorgeous!

55k, 3 litre Privilege auto. Cat-back SS exhaust, 18" wheels with Falken 452 tyres, and just fitted a full set of ventilated discs, with alloy bells, and alloy 4-pot calipers front and rear. That last little lot cost a bit, but the results are astounding - cannot now sneeze in direction of brake pedal as this results in an immediate loss of 10 mph! (Slight exaggeration - but they really do work well!). Parrot CK200 Bluetooth hands-free kit fitted.

Have finally discovered an aftermarket unit that will replace the satnav/CD player. Clarion produce a device called a MAX983HD. It features a 40Gbyte hard-drive of which half accommodates the navigation system, while the other half is used to store CD-quality (NOT MP3 rubbish) tunes, which it "grabs" off any CD that is played on the built-in single slot CD player. The unit is a double-height DIN unit, and should fit in the centre console - the 7" touchscreen displays the satnav and audio displays, and my tame ICE suppliers are very confident that they will be able to integrate it with the Avantime's dash display and steering-column controls. Downside - it'll cost £1800 fully installed... due to be fitted when I complete my current offshore contract sometime towards the end of September.

Above link should take you to the correct website page.

Other recent expenditure - £750 on the cambelt change at Rentech, and the 54,000 mile service. Oh yes, and the typical coil failure which Ian at Rentech dealt with in about two hours, changing out a second coil as it looked a trifle tired to his eyes - that only cost about £120 all in. Terrific price!

the cd stacker got tangled , repaired by a company called Sextons in Maidstone. They no longer trade from the old address but are mobile repairers. Try Ian on 07595217619

    CXI524 - 2.0Dynamique, 54,000 (2002, 52) Red.
Brilliant condition throughout, only niggle is the ash tray lid doesn't quite fit.
Minor scuffs on alloys, had it professionally polished about 3 months ago, so bodywork immaculate.
Biggest spend, 4 Pirelli's at a cost of £612. Everything works as it should. Only use it for occasions, due to be SORN'd over the winter.
Bought it at the beginning of the year, previously owned around the Plymouth area, serviced at Dales from new. Lucky that the previous owners looked after it very well. Due a cambelt change next year(gulp) but plan to do no more than 2,000 miles a year in it at the most.....Was described to me as "the camper van of the future"... I'm guessing that was a compliment!
  10.
Just bought it on 28 August, little wrong so far. Reading the manuals is like being back at school though. More of a computer than a car compared to my old Murena! I just hope and pray that none of the gadgets snuff it too soon!

HX52 LVA 2.0litre turbo Dynamique in steel grey.
Bought two and a half years ago and now done 85K.

Roof bars done last year under warranty and wing mirror brackets being done on 11th of September also under warranty.

Everything works perfectly apart from the centre cd lid which wont close since I had the whole thing apart to clean inside.

2nd cam belt change due soon and just bought 4 new tyres.

As soon as I bought it had full L.P.G. conversion ( £1300) and Westfalia detachable towbar.

But biggest spend pro rata has to be a hand brake cable at £90.00!! PLEASE DONT IT ONLY UPSETS ME...

Would I sell? yes.....next year, but only for a 3litre and it must be Illiad!
