found this whilst looking for my paint touch up http://www.amicale-Avantime.com/production2.php quite interesting because it tells you the number of cars produced with what paint spec and interior finish, needed to use a translator though. Could it be I've got the only one in my spec?
Have you looked at the downloads section? There's a good number of guides on various things, including an excellent stone chip repair guide which also has all the codes. Well worth a read before you start touching up to get great results.
when I search for my colour match for 211 steppe I get 2 choices grey or green - trouble is I can't tell if it is grey or green, anyone know how to choose the correct colour match?
Search using the "Car Model" box and select Avantime then you get one option (211 Steppe). It's called Steppe because it changes colour in different light. so sometimes it's grey, sometimes green, sometimes blue and sometimes silver.
I've just had the car professionally touched up and I must say it looks terrific. I had a wing mirror knocked about and scratched by some lovely person and the back bumper had a few nibbles where someone had missed whilst trying to hook up a trailer or caravan plus a few marks around the boot. The chap came to my house with a van and did it on the drive. He was here for around 6 hours and charged me 130 quid, bargain for all that filling and painting!
His name is Rob, telephone number 07720 771 402, he doesn't have a website, I found him when he was doing someones car around the corner from my house. All his work is word of mouth, I'll post some pics later.
yes and he did a really good job, I can see where he has worked his magic but anyone else would be hard pressed to spot it and it's Steppe as well so very difficult to match.
Finished product, particularly impressed that he got the creases out of the bodywork below the number plate which were rippled and as you can see a good colour match
Yes he did well didn't he. He mentioned that he has been asked to go to Holland to do jobs so I don't know how far he is willing to travel but I'll definitely use him again if need be (fingers crossed I won't need to).
Yes it looks very good. It's a long way from SW16 to Chorley ... but my son is at Manchester Uni. I think I might be visiting him sooner than I bargained for
This is an interesting site but for the life of me I cannot tell the difference between 'Harmonie beige hoggar' and 'Harmonie leather beige'. Anyone out there who can fill the gap in my knowledge? http://amicale-Avantime.com/harmonies.html
